There is an opportunity to join our team at P3RFORM. We are currently looking to recruit performance orientated clinicians to provide support as required to the PFA residential rehabilitation programme at St George’s Park (SGP) plus other sporting organisations, national contracts and activities across the business.
Duties will include the delivery of rehabilitation support, both pitch and gym based plus the provision of pitch-side cover. This will include the completion of medical assessments alongside the delivery of individualised sports specific rehabilitation programmes. Candidates will need to be competent in the application of a variety of manual therapies. Excellent communication skills are paramount to work successfully with professional athletes and build strong working relationships within the MDT.
Whilst previous involvement in professional football is preferential; all candidates with an experience of working in a sporting environment will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery of clinical support services for the PFA residential rehabilitation scheme at St. George’s Park.
Collaborative discussion regarding all elements of assessment, treatment and rehabilitation with the lead clinicians on the PFA scheme.
Liaise with Physiotherapists, Physical Performance Coaches and other members of the team with regards to evidence informed rehabilitation and performance programming and return to train / play decisions.
Provide pitch-side cover for training and matches as required.
Complete comprehensive and confidential medical records.
As required, support rehabilitation focused educational experience days at St. George’s Park to visiting academic institutions and teams.
As required, contribute to clinical orientated activities across the wider business, supporting client groups in corporate, residential and educational settings.
ESSENTIALS:
BSc Physiotherapy/Sports Rehabilitation/Sports Therapy
Member of the HCPC/BASRaT/SST
At least 2 years post-graduate experience
Experience of working in high level / professional sport
Full UK Driving License
Registered to work in the UK
Enhanced CRC check
DESIRABLES:
MSc in sports medicine or related discipline
Pitch-side trauma qualification e.g. ATMMIF, ITMMIF
Experience of working within a football club environment
Evidence of relevant post graduate professional development
Strength and Conditioning qualification (achieved or on-going).
