John Hartley Appointed Clinical Lead at P3RFORM, Based at St. George’s Park

P3RFORM is proud to announce the appointment of John Hartley as Clinical Lead, a key leadership role based at St. George’s Park, the home of England’s national football teams.

John will oversee the delivery of P3RFORM’s growing portfolio of clinical services at the National Football Centre and digitally via the P3RFORM app, supporting clients across sport, education, and corporate wellbeing.

Bringing over 20 years of elite-level physiotherapy and rehabilitation expertise, John will lead the team at St. George’s Park in delivering residential rehabilitation, injury prevention, return-to-play support, and recovery-focused education experiences. He will also continue to play a pivotal role in the ongoing development of P3RFORM’s digital triage model, currently used by the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) and other partners.

Jake Keeling, Managing Director of P3RFORM, said:
“We’re delighted to welcome John into this senior role. His clinical leadership, understanding of elite environments, and ability to innovate align perfectly with our mission to deliver accessible, high-quality performance and rehab support. John will be instrumental in shaping the future of our services at St. George’s Park and beyond. From the recovery of elite footballers to the wellbeing of corporate teams and educating the practitioners of tomorrow.”

A particular focus for John will be growing the reputation and reach of P3RFORM’s residential rehabilitation programme across football, particularly among top-tier clubs and in the rapidly expanding women’s game. His strategic leadership will also help enhance P3RFORM’s educational offerings to schools, colleges, and universities, with a new emphasis on rehabilitation-focused content embedded within performance experiences.

John Hartley commented:
“It’s a privilege to take on this role at such an exciting stage of P3RFORM’s journey. The opportunity to lead the team at St. George’s Park, to help elevate the standard of rehabilitation across football, and to shape how we integrate clinical care into education and corporate performance is something I’m hugely passionate about. I look forward to working with the team to push boundaries, challenge norms, and ultimately help more people move, recover, and perform at their best.”
