Dan is a qualified physiotherapist working at the highest level of both men’s and women’s football in the UK, supporting both the FA and PFA with player performance, rehabilitation and return to sport.
I qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 2012 and began my career in private practice with IPRS Health. My journey into elite sport started with a part-time role with England Futsal, before being appointed as head physiotherapist at Mansfield Town FC in 2015. During my three years at the League Two club, I was responsible for the medical management of all first team players.
As a member of the GCP team, I’ve continued to work in professional sport, supporting the delivery of the Professional Football Association (PFA) residential rehabilitation programme at St George’s Park. I also provide support to the FA, as a consultant physiotherapist on the Women’s Pathway, alongside private physiotherapy services.
I have a keen interest in athlete performance and development and am currently studying for an MSc in Strength and Conditioning. My goal is to support athletes from all backgrounds with their rehabilitation and return to sport, helping to maintain high performance and reduce the risk of reinjury.
When we introduce one of our expert coaches into someone’s life we begin to build a meaningful relationship they stretches way beyond talking about fitness.
We hear about when they are not sleeping well, not feeling great or when they feel they like are performing poorly at work.
We are asked for advice regarding mental fitness, healthy eating, dietary requirements, sleep and nutrition. Our aim is to become a core and trusted part of our clients daily life.
